Lillian Thorn Knutson Photo Exhibit
Sherburne History Center Lobby Gallery
12 photographs, selected from the Sherburne County Historical Society’s photograph collection of amateur photographer Lillian Thorn Knutson, are on display in the Sherburne History Center’s lobby gallery.​
Lillian (Thorn) Knutson documented daily life in the 20th century village of Becker and the surrounding area with a Kodak 2A Brownie camera she was gifted. She photographed her husband (K. G. Knutson), daughter (Arvilla Knutson Gongoll), parents (Samuel and Margaret Thorn) and life going on outside her home and general store. This exhibit is sponsored by the Gongoll family.

Come view our Christmas Tree Festival set up in our lobby the entire month of December. Some trees are sponsored and decorated by local businesses. Others are decorated in memory of a loved one. And some are decorated just for fun! Get a start to your holiday activities, by coming and checking out the trees!
